When it flew in today I thought I\u2019d try and get a closeup shot. By the time I had my camera ready, the little devil had found a secluded spot behind some alders along the shore. I managed to sneak down to within 10 metres of him without scaring him off. After he got over his nervousness at my presence he just stood there and groomed himself and basked in the sun. I waited quite a while, but he wouldn\u2019t wander away from his sheltered spot.
