I took this yesterday during Connor and Mel’s visit. I liked it so much I had to give it its own post.
Connor stopped by today after his visit to the doctor for a checkup. He didn’t seem that excited to see me. Oh well…
He did have lunch though.
Another shot from my après curling photo experience yesterday – rendered with a polaroid look. The symmetry is not quite what I wanted but I like it anyway.
This gas meter or similar contraption caught my attention while I was leaving the Almonte Curling Club after my game today in the Old Geezers Pizza League.
This shot was taken 3 days ago. Connor was under a UV light as a treatment for his jaundice after birth. He’s home now and doing well.
Another still life with the same apple and plate as yesterday, but different grapes. I know you were curious…
All rendered with a high contrast black and white treatment.
Meet my new grandson. This is Connor at less than 1 hour old. He was born at 1:36AM today and weighed 7 lbs 9 oz. He was 4 weeks premature and was a bit wheezy. He was kept in neo-natal care under close watch for the first few hours. Baby and mom are now together and doing well.
The plate is probably the most interesting item here. It is a piece of wood fired pottery – very rustic and beautiful.
