David was away for a few days in January and I went to his place to feed Mr. Kitty. The image above was taken from his balcony. There’s a lot of distortion because it is composed of 3 wide angle shots stitched together.
This is the scene the next day. It was a lot sunnier but still cold. Silly me, I should have used the same lens as the first shot above. The second image is a compsite of seven shots with a medium range telephoto (80mm) all stitched together to give an image that I could could print with lots of detail 6 feet wide and over 1 foot high. The detail is enough to read the for rent sign on the Bell Street appartments at the right side of the image just to the left of the tower. Unfortunately my blog limits images to 640 pixels wide.
