It was very very hot and humid today, so we decided to forgo bike riding and travel around to a few wineries in air conditioned comfort. We tasted a few wines, bought fewer, and had lunch with a glass of wine on a patio on the lake shore. One winery we stopped at, Spruce Grove, was near these large wind turbines. There are lots of protest signs up around the area showing that the wind turbines aren’t popular, especially plans to place some out on the lake (Erie). Maybe the locals would prefer a nuclear power generating station in their neighbourhood.
